The comic series is our best hope for unanswered questions. And let’s hope they do a really good job with them, and hope we can consider them canon if possible!
@AspectofBlood21
Honestly they could have given the sisters something to compensate for losing their connection to the Elements(or even give them something to restore that connection).
Since apparently losing the ability to use the Elements means that’s it for them. The sisters are screwed big time.
@nightshroud96
Right!?
Like, we all have our theories (mine is that their fight was such a betrayal of harmony that the elements severed themselves), but let’s get some development of that!
They don’t even need to disprove theories, just give us more detail to form theories from!
@AspectofBlood21
And also explore issues like about the fact they lost their connection to the Elements.
I feel like that should be touched on rather than being handwaved aside with being used an excuse on why can’t the Royal Sisters fight alongside the girls.
@nightshroud96
The whole series, imo.
I’d love to have a whole season covering their quest to defeat Discord. Howd they avoid getting goofed by him? They look pretty messed up, what happened there? How did they find the elements and the tree?
I say they could have explored more for the Royal Sisters.
Like about where they came from or more on the potential of alicorn’s powers.
Like Luna’s dark powers of Nightmare Moon and such.
@Background Pony #F83A
Which is why we nerd to make our own season 10.
I hereby place my vote on Chrissy, Crazy Glue and Tirek get slice of life episodes.
@Smart Heart
Well, I think quite a few whom work on the show write good stories too. I know you’ll disagree, and that’s perfectly fine, but sometimes what we want in the show, isn’t always what’s best for it.
@Smart Heart
No offense, but I get really annoyed whenever fans insist the fanbase is better then professionals, or that they should be in charge of the series. It just sounds so… entitled, and egotistical frankly…
Especially, considering fans tend to do things like have characters randomly make-out for no reason, or whatever in their stories constantly, and such.
I remember reading a pretty good MLP fanfic once, and then suddenly one chapter got very violent, and dark, and such, which was odd, because up until then, there was no cussing, or anything, and it was very family-friendly like the show until then…
(Stuff like these things kinda put me off MLP fanfiction lately.)
It’s also kinda unfair to compare fanfiction & official stuff considering you can do whatever you want in fanfiction, while making a 22-minute, family-friendly cartoon is completely different.
@Darth Shy
See, I’m not sure if that really matters that much.
Beyond the “doesnt matter, it’s more pone” argument, Equestria has a history of having alternate realities.
Also, given that this is not a part of the original comic’s, it is in fact canon. Hasbro even mentioned that yes, this is the canonical 10th season.
Not only that, but maybe we could see how Scorpan’s life turned out abandoning Tirek! I mean, he was returning home all alone, so you think he’d expect a full warm welcome? Obviously there have had to have been problems, maybe he didn’t even return home and only the princesses think he did!
Maybe him being the previous owner of the Staff of Sacanas could be recycled, and since the Staff was made by the Tree of Harmony, he could have some connection to it!
Plus, there’s the recurring theory of him being the one who found Spike’s egg!
That’s a whole season’s worth of content right there!
@eXAKR
Yo, this is literally an anime at this point.
Anime series pull this all the time, end the series, then advertise the manga.
Hasbro are weebs, you hear me!?

Big time
Hoping it would give the sisters much better justice than how the finale handled them..
Yes!!

That’s why I actually prefer the fanbase to the show itself nowadays.
not to mention it makes it even more annoying when adaptations are labelled as FanFiction when people don’t like them

In this case, I’m referring to the few that actually wrote good stories.

Yes, but it’s more often better when the professional writers on the show put in that same effort as we fans do.
That’s what this is for:

More like a Q and Guinan reference from Star Trek.
You can get off now if you want. You personally don’t hafta consider this canon! ;)
See, I’m not sure if that really matters that much.

I mean it doesn’t necessarily count as canon

Hasbro says it does. That is pretty official.
@Lil Penpusher
Comics can explore her backstory.
