I could see it probably having been planned tbh.
I like to base my ships into something cohesive and “fitting”, like character interactions, dynamics, etc. There are some exceptions for this rules, like the aforementioned Gallas x Sandbar, which I find it interesting mostly because of fanart, but I never actually seen or watched them interact that often, in fact, that goes to all of the Student Six.
Why “was”? Ships never sink because most ships aren’t real.
Not really though, but it was a fun ship combination imo
