This. Their relationship is so obvious
In addition to the hoof on the head, right before that there is a little over a second where the two of them share a look while the others are watching Luster Dawn run off. Add this into the mix and the shipping fuel is doubled.
I mean, to be fair, the context of their lines when they arrived at the throne room implied they’re living together. I mean, they’re both talking about chores on the farm. Very subtle there from the writers, but I think that’s pretty convincing. Oh, plus, at the very end of the episode when they show all the mane six (and Spike) in a screenshot after Twilight’s student goes off to make friends, RD literally has her hoof on AJ’s head/mane.
Shipping fuel intensifying.
We don’t know if they did or not but that just makes it more fun to create OCs, really.
Happy you are having fun!
Hopefully everyone else is having fun with the other main 6. If they also had kids
Edited
I’ve made 5 older siblings for Li’l Cheese for one of my Next-Gen AUs. I already came up names for them (two of them were names I scrapped from my main Next-Gen AU when I chose SkyPie for my Pinkie Pie ship over CheesePie). Now I’m just trying to figure out some designs for them.
Yeah I like that, it shows that there’s a chance that more kids are out there
Yeah, I recall Lil’ Cheese having a Boneless with the number 6 on it.
Yeah I can understand that, I just would of probably liked seeing them, raising the next generation. Also pinkie has more kids. It’s number 6
@link
I’m glad they weren’t more kids. That way things are open-ended for fans to make up their own ideas if they want to make their own fan content that takes place after the finale.
Yeah that’s what i’m Seeing, also wish there were more kids
Only think I would of linked was if there was a hint of a kid for RD and Soarin. Like they tried but it didn’t work
Good point.
I hate being a Debbie Downer but I have a big sinking feeling that a lot of things in the finale are going to piss off a whole bunch of fans once it officially airs.
Regardless of what happens with Rainbow Dash and Applejack, there were other shipping hints and shipping confirmations there too so that’s bound to get people riled up. Not to mention there’s quite a bit of non-shipping related stuff that’s likely to get people angry as well (and I’ve already seen it happen).
I can’t blame some people for being upset since I have some of my own gripes with some bits of the finale myself. Not to the point where I’m willing to make a big stink over it like fight with other people about it, mock people who enjoyed the finale, or harass the people who worked on the show. But I am slightly disappointed that some things didn’t happen the way I expected them to.
At the same time, I’ve been through worse series finales from other series. And since I’m a big fan of fanmade content, fanfiction and fanart can just easily ignore the stuff about the finale that I didn’t like anyways so it’s not as big of a deal to me compared to other people. The finale may not have been what I wanted but I’m just glad the series has been a big part of my life this long and appreciate it for that. I prefer being a glass half full kinda person.

Well, three weeks, all will be revealed. But I would be surprised if they confirmed Appledash. Rainbow Dash is shipped a lot, and I don’t know if the staff want to piss off a whole bunch of fans. What I expect is that the staff is going to leave it up to the viewer to decide who loves who in this case.
I also got a hint out of it. Kind of like how they teased Rarijack through most of the series. And it’s a little too vague for me to believe.
I didn’t watch the finale in full. I’ve only seen a few clips of out of context in a language I don’t speak. I didn’t see the clip of Rainbow Dash and Applejack talking together either but was more or less going from word of mouth from what other people were saying. And what I got was that it was a hint, not a full-blown confirmation. Am I “joshing” you or being “VERY insincere” for simply asking for an extra opinion so I can get a better context and understanding of what happened?
Are you joshin’ me? Please tell me your joshin’ me.
(sigh) If RD is talking about doing chores on a regular basis to the point of asking AJ for her to do it onwards since it would be faster for them to leave the same location if she used it regularly, then where did you actually think RD was living? RD is not a part time weather pony anymore, nor is she AJ’s maid. She is a Wonderbolt, the only reason she would be talking about doing AJ’s chores at the house onwards is if she was living there as well. Again, viewer’s interpretation requires an alternate explanation.
And before you go off on an extremely silly tangent that RD was offering to constantly go from her house to AJ’s to do her chores so she would get it done quicker….don’t. It’s an extremely unlikely idea, so off tangent from any realistic interpretation.
RD’s verbal context was very specific in format when talking about doing the chores around their house. It was not that of someone who drops by.
@mjangelvortex
Besides, this pretext of yours is pointless and comes across as VERY insincere. You already admitted it was a strong hint 3 days ago, you already admitted you completely understand the implications.
The episode said they lived together? I only heard about the part about them arguing about the chores, which is something that I could picture the two of them doing, romantic relationship or not.
The definition of viewer’s interpretation hasn’t changed has it? The reason we call something shipping fuel or viewer’s interpretation is that there is a possibility of one truth…but there is also a different option or more then one different option.
According to the dialogue, they are two adults they didn’t live together as young adults but now do live together, argue about who does the chores, and only argue about that because they found it natural to leave ‘together’. So either they are together or….they are together. What’s the second option?
(scratches head) I’m not even that much of a shipper, but call me crazy, the dialogue does not leave much for the imagination. Its obviously not as overt as Lyra proposing to Bonbon, but it gets the point across. It delivers the facts of their current living situation just fine. Any possibility of it being otherwise given what they said is very unlikely. In other words, its a stretch otherwise, not the other way around this time.
The point is, it was NOT meant to be meant for the viewer’s interpretation, but it WAS intentionally ‘not-in-your-face’ about the facts of them being together to be overly distracting shipping. A happy detail instead of an earthshattering revelation.

Yes, I believe they leave it up to the viewer’s interpretation. But I don’t believe that Rainbow Dash ended up with Soarin’ because there’s no evidence that it happened. Just because I like a ship, doesn’t mean I think it’s canon or that it happened.
I think what’s going to happen is that they’re going to leave it up to your interpretation. If that’s the case, I’m going with what you believe, which is that Rainbow Dash ends up with Soarin’.
Yeah, RariJack kind of dethroned it (and I’m not gonna lie, EQG did help give that ship a lot of ammo over AppleDash). I’m glad your ship got a hint in the finale.
@Background Pony #9ED5
That’s what I’m thinking. That being said, it is a cute idea, even if it’s not my favorite ship.
