I must admit, I’m slowly realizing that an aspect of my writing in this arc is about catharsis as a GM, too. Who doesn’t want to confront their players with their flaws (in an educational way) and knock them down a peg from time to time?

Discord: You’ve stumbled across one of the little “bonus objectives” I put into this maze. Just behind these fragile rocks is a record-breaking hunk of pure diamond. With it, you could buy whatever you wanted for the rest of your mortal life. And it’s yours for the taking. What do you say?
Rarity: I say… ABSOLUTELY NOT! I am the Element of Generosity, you fiend! Do not take me for a common thief! Riches mean NOTHING to me!
Discord: Of course, of course… Guess I’ll just offer it to your enemies, instead.
