Like the Tree of Harmony being all grown back in Celestia’s and Luna’s first battle against Discord BUT then saying it took 1000 years for the “seed of the pillars” to grow ;-)
or Ahuizotl (aka let the world burn) and Garble (aka destroy the eggs of phoenixes) always being good or Tirek not stealing Discords power in season 9 because he “can’t control it” XD
or Twilight not being afraid of Ladybugs until this special episode despite a Ladybug almost becoming the pet of Dashie XD
“Writers” ignoring the canon of the show is both, funny and sad
Bonus head-canon: What if Twilight wasn’t afraid of ladybugs until the bonus episode Ail-icorn? She turned into a baby again at the end, so maybe Shining Armor and Cadence took care of her and then Shining caused her “the dots are actually eyes” trauma. There, problem solved ;-)
