Chracter development? She has now embraced green maned ponies and is no longer racist against them. Spike told her the tragic backstory of Maniac and her tearjerker redemption arc. Rarity realized she was the problem and the reason why Maniac turned evil. She swore never again to be prejudiced against their kind ever again. From now on if a green haired beggar asks for money, Rarity will no longer reject them.
