Something tells me you have a bit of problem with smug individuals. Jokes aside, I do somewhat feel like turning our 3 finale antagonists into stone undermines the Frenemies episode & the lesson from Daring Doubt entirely. Minor issues, at that, but still, the Finale was good, IMO.

Some off-topic insight:  
In any place related to IRL fighting (MMA, boxing, et cetera), being smug, cocky, arrogant and disrespectful to your opponent’s skills is always cringe, unless you’re either doing it in jokingly manner to make everyone smile, or you’re celebrating your epic victory over said opponent. I’m not saying that Starlight should be respectful towards Chrysalis, but she should be focused instead of being cocky.

I’m not talking about the final episode, which most people liked, I’m talking about episodes 24-25, that many people hated in one way or another for various reasons (Discord being Grogar/being a dick, a shit ton of new “debatable” moments in the logic of the series’ plot, villains getting turned into stone - poor writing in general). I don’t think anyone was fully satisfied with those episodes, and even if there are people like that, they’re certainly not the majority.  
But we’re getting off-topic. What I’m saying is, moments like that in the gif are pure cringe (though not as cringy as Celestia’s S M U G face when Discord told her his idea of a punishment, or when everyone started cheering after seeing a child being sentenced to a fate worse than death), and they certainly aren’t making the episode better. Even villains are not that edgy.
