It’s not really a matter of being good or bad. I’ve noticed all the ponies (and other creatures) are ones most connected to Applejack. Flim and Flam tried to steal her family farm and Applejack really hated them for that, she tangled with them often. So it makes sense they would be in her background.
She has a foal, and it’s name is Sweet Apple Acres
That or given a choice between living under the rule of goodie-goodies who will be very very disappointed with your lawbreaking but usually tend towards forgiveness, and living under the rule of three tyrants who would kill you for fits and shiggles – better the good guys, right?
“Peace is good for business.” Siding with the good guys had to become more profitable at some point.
Not likely, considering that she sang about “Generations yet to come” while hugging the son of Big Mac and Sugar Belle, and that we even see Winona’s puppies in the background, but not foals of her own.

Yeahh..That sounds logical. Actually I was asking myself why I didn’t see Sweetie Belle in Rarity part.
