And if you don’t accept this as canon then you don’t even need to accept Discord as canon. You can accept that Fluttercord is canon in the series while also accepting that your waifu is the Fluttershy that haven’t met Discord just like Fluttershy from Equestria Girls.

Personally, I’m not too bothered weather or not Discord and Fluttershy get married. As long as Discord is respectful of Fluttershy, and it’s a mutually happy relationship, I don’t mind if they’re friends or spouses. But I think it’s kind of cute to see them being friendly with each other here.

I wish we could ‘Like’ comments on this website. You put it right on the money: everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but please be kind to one another all the same.

They left it for fan interpretation. So if you its canon then your not wrong and if you think its just friendship then your not wrong either but those who are rude to others whether they are shipper or anti shippers need to learn to respect others opinions and not call others delusional or whatever by thinking that their perspective is the only right one .

I also heard Fluttershy note that if not for Discord’s convention, ‘he’d be joining us’. I may be wrong, but that sounds like he has an honorary place in The Friendship Council with the others! Or at least, they value his friendship and company to the point that he’s allowed to casually hang out with them. Either way, it warms my heart <3
