Why can’t the beams just hit Chrysalis’s stupid face for once!?

It’s also good to see Rarity using magic more often near the end. Though she was no Twilight, we actually saw her put that horn to use in the early seasons, then nothing (but basic levitation of small things) for ages. Though it is pretty cool that she knows kung fu.

Many a joke was had at via a “physical injury” pratfall to Spike, and he was never debilitated for longer than a moment. Turns out that wasn’t just joke a joke, he actually IS that durable.

Spike took a direct blast and got back up a second later. Tanky little bastard. Respect for dragon bro.

Spike and Rarity saving each other from leathal fate seriously melted my heart. Those two are seriously amazing together. And if Rarity had any doubts after that, they vanished after Spike grows up to the mountain of muscles.
