I mean, Spike did treated Rarity kindly, even though she was turned into an old hag (then again, he didn’t realize it was her at the beginning)
Maybe she took the lesson in “It isn’t the Mane Thing About You” to heart, and rather than trying to hide the gray, instead worked to make it look as stylish as possible.
That’s a good point, I missed that. I was guessing somewhere in that range
pinkie’s daughter looks more school age than toddler. especially considering that her daughter has her cutie mark. i want to say a minimum of 10 years. maybe 20 if we’re stretching it.
Not to mention the stress of every ordeal they’ve been through over 9 seasons.
That’s probably it. Great idea for a fill-in story, Rarity struggling with and then coming to terms with early grayness. The under-eye lines are probably just to differentiate with the younger “models”, but they make them look older than their own parents did.
That said, the weight of literally saving the whole world dozens of times (and probably more since) would age you significantly.
