“So I started picturing in my head that Princess Skystar would eventually take her mom’s place in ruling the Hippogriffs/SeaPonies in the future, and the MLP:FIM finale had some of the characters aged up. So I pictured what Skystar might look like within that time.  
Since Skystar is Novo’s daughter, I felt she would look a little like her when older, mainly in her overall design, with the head, body, wing-fins, and a little in the tail. She would also be wearing Novo’s crown too. But not to deviate too far, I still kept her freckles and overall mane design, with the spots added in so Skystar can feel like her mother.  
I plan to do her hippogriff form as well. Because BirbPones are some of the best pones.”
