I think she’s meant to be Rose Tyler. With the one reference in season 4 where Whooves is wearing the 3D glasses. Luckily tenroses pony counterparts didn’t end up having their own doomsday lol

That’s very true
Although this may not matter to everyone, if Derpy and the Doctor were together, it would be kinda creepy if the Equesria Girls counterparts were also together since Derpy is still in school, and I would be suspicious of anyone claiming they thought Whooves/Time Turner was also a teenager.
They’ve been teasing this ship for a long time in the background of many episodes. I don’t think derpy and doctor were ever really a thing apart from the 100th episode.
