Um excuse me the GT40, which the car was based on, was designed in Europe by Europeans. So..
 
Also it was not a muscle car. It is a supercar. Consider the engine layout. Also consider the fact that muscle cars can still be used for daily life. Also think of it like this. Is it made for drag racing or for track racing? The GT would never win in a drag race. But on a track? That’s another story.
 
And yeah AJ would have a truck. Simply being fast is too much for her simple lifestyle. I’d see a truck.

I’d think Dash would go for the production car speed record holder. That would update her to the Agera RS.
 
AJ would go with a more traditional muscle car, likely GT500.
 
Rarity would be fine as is.
 
Fluttershy is very much like a P100D. Mild 90% of the time, but don’t count her potency out.
 
Pinkie would go with something like an Ariel Atom. Barely a car but stupidly fast nonetheless.
 
And finally Twilight. She has a preference to stay under the radar, but as an alicorn she has to drive a supercar. Hence the LFA. People still don’t really know about the car until they hear it.
