I get the point. I just don’t see why the lore holiday can still be mentioned as an analog to the real holiday as well.
The three weeks of December up until December 25th is ‘last minute’ to you?
Christmas crap doesn’t need to be around all November long imo. If stores want to start on the last full week of November sure, but nobody needs two full months just to buy decorations, don’t care who you are. If you’re that busy you’re gonna be that person buying off Amazon two day shipping, anyway.

The biggest shopping day of the year isn’t Black Friday. It’s Christmas Eve. December is crazy.

Back in the 1980s, the TV commercials for Christmas music (on vinyl records and 8-track tapes) would start in August.
I’m sure Anti remembered. I’m sure he’s just trying (and succeeding) to be funny.
Sometimes it’s intentional in humor pics, like that one where they called it “Pony Halloween” instead of “Nightmare Night.” Sometimes it adds to the humor.
