Minecraft is basically a creator’s game. The actual act of building can be boring for some, but you might enjoy seeing those creations much as you enjoy art but don’t necessarily want to draw yourself.
 
Me with Robocraft, I came back feeling pretty lost, even more compared to when I was completely new to the game.

I miss the show so much
I’ve never played Minecraft. Looking back now, I feel like I missed something huge. So many people have created all those massive worlds in it. It feels like it’s part of our popular culture now. But it’s too late to pick it up now, it’d never feel the same.
 
One of the reasons I never played it was because it was (and still is, I guess) written using Java. Back in 2006, after getting fed up with leaky Java garbage, I swore I would never install Java again in any computer I use. That made me completely ignore Minecraft when it appeared. I’m still not really in speaking terms with Java.

Wallet After Summer Sale -

To be fair it’s not like this doesn’t apply to so many other games. I used to love Dwarf Fort but it’s changed so much since I last played that I basically have to learn it all over… the fact that one errant anything can result in the total slaughter of a fort hasn’t changed at all though.
