Well, you’re right. The movie nearly killed off the Mane 6, Spike, and Princess Luna. Just like in any other movies that are based off tv shows like when “The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie nearly killed off both SpongeBob and Patrick (because they’re revived by the tear of the Goofy Goobers they shed as well as a conveniently place sprinkler system that also resurrected all the other prisoners of Shell City) and Mr. Krabs (because he nearly gets fried by King Neptune when SpongeBob and Patrick takes the bullet by blocking the fire beam that bounces off King Neptune’s stolen crown as a shield and fries David Hasselhoff above Bikini Bottom but survived), “The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie 2: Sponge Out of Water” nearly killed off SpongeBob when he declared a sacrifice, “The Transformers: The Movie” nearly killed off Bumblebee, Jazz, Cliffjumper (despite their toys being discontinued in 1986), Spike Witwicky, Dirge, Thrust, and Ramjet (because the jets that were eaten by Unicron were just unnamed generic deceptions that reassemble the Coneheads if you watch the movie in slow motion or super slow motion), “The Simpsons Movie” nearly killed off Homer and Bart in climax when they nearly fell into the Springfield Gorge and nearly get shot by Russ Cargil after they blow up the dome to save Springfield from Russ Cargill and his E.P.A., “The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Movie” nearly killed off Zordon because he was resurrected by the Rangers’ Great Power at the end of the movie, “Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie” nearly killed off Jason Lee Scott, “The Rugrats Movie” nearly killed off Spike Pickles the Dog because he survived failing off the bridge while Scar Snout died in the climax of the film, and G.I. Joe: The Movie nearly killed off Duke because he fall into a coma following Serpentor’s venomous attack because the early version of the movie saw Duke died.
