I have, and she’s adorable.
After staring at it real hard for a while I can see what they are talking about, but honestly it shouldn’t matter. As long as you aren’t trying to analyze the animation it looks perfectly fine. The flaws only become apparent when you start looking for them.

yeah, true. i really like their work a lot, but if there’s one thing they could improve on more, it’s doing less slow, delayed movements, and less of the squash-and-stretch animation too.
Yeah, no, it’s not. About as well as some of the sloppier Hub ads, maybe, but not the show. In addition to the face expression and abrupt head turns, the movements themselves are abrupt and jagged.

I think the collar is just throwing you off. This is animated just as well as the actual show.

Don’t worry, most cat owners will surely realise they shouldn’t scare their cats for funsies. And those who do think it’s funny may well only have done it once. If so, their cats will get over it.
i thought i was the only one who believed that putting cucumbers around cats is an awful way to get a reaction out of a cat. cats still have their predators and their defensive behaviours, and if cats supposedly see cucumbers as snake-like creatures, then don’t show them the object. you’re just being a dick to your pet.
…i’m rambling a lot here, lol. that’s not to say the actual gif isn’t cute though.

There was a cruel fad that swept the internet a few years back where people would put cucumbers or something similar behind their cats as they did something - usually eating from their bowl. When the cat turned round and saw it there, they would leap up in the air in fear. It’s because cats are naturally cautious and there wasn’t anything there before, so it was a shock. The fake news that cats are scared of cucumbers spread rapidly…

Cats are seriously that afraid of cucumbers because they see it as a threat upon themselves.
