Raritys first real focus on her live life was for ‘Prince Charming’ and she makes goo goo eyes on stallions pretty damn often. But I dont think even once the Pony version looked at or showed any romantic interest in a mare. Not once.

I don’t know about you but I think dresses and are generally for the girls. Unless we are talking about cilts. Pony Rarity never flirted with the girls the same way she flirted with guys. Sometimes, I think that people force lesbianism onto her.

They’re two separate characters though. Just because one may be implied to be bi doesn’t mean they both are, especially when the other is only seen being attracted to one gender so far. Maybe their sexuality is the difference between the two.

If Human Rarity got implied crushes on Vignette and Applejack in Rollercoaster of Friendship, then that can mean that the writers see her as bisexual overall and not just in Equestria Girls. Human Rarity is not super different from Rarity the same way Pony!Twilight is different from Sci-Twi. Both Rarities are written and characterized in the same way. Also, if there’s Equestria Girls writers that ship Rarijack, they aren’t shipping it just because it popped to their head one day, but because they must’ve seen chemistry in the show, because they had nothing to go off of in Equestria Girls itself.

First thing let’s get something sorted out: pony Rarity and human Rarity are two different beings and they don’t have to share sexual preferences. Human Rarity is clearly interested in Applejack, that would make her lesbaian, or bisexual, if you remember Ragimuffin. Pony Rarity however only showed interest in charming guys, had two male crushes, plus she was jealous when Gabby started to hang out with Spike. She was not making the advances towards the girls any more than any other girl. If we qualify winks and prolonged glances as the indicator of her being lesbian, it would mean that all of the mane 6 are lesbian, no, even better, they are all a big harem with each other. I don’t think that there is any substantial proof that pony Rarity likes mares. Headcanons will be headcanons, but in pony world, going against Sparity, who has vocalised history and feelings, with Rarijack sometimes seems like a streaching it too far.

To be fair, a good number of fans think practically the entire main cast are lesbian. The crew clearly have their own ships particularly some members of the EQG crew who seem to be rarijack shippers but the crew won’t ever give a definitive answer on any of them except CheesePie. As for tumblr, that type of scorched earth ‘I’m right and you’re a bigot if you don’t agree with me’ attitude really hasn’t been that noticeable for quite a while around here. They certainly exist but nowhere near to the extent they used to.
