Wait a second, aren’t Famicom controllers supposed to be attached to the system?
The Famicom had a port in the front where the Japanese plugged peripherals like their version of the Zapper, or third-party controllers like Hudson’s joycard controllers.
Judging by the four buttons, this is more likely a Dendy controller. The Dendy was a famiclone that was HUGELY popular in Russia.
Oh! Now that makes more sense. Thanks!
