In truth Gloriosa isn’t a particularly amazing character, but I always really liked her. There’s just something so brave in how she tries to soldier down n and save the camp despite how incredibly in-over-her-head she is. All the stress, all the doubts, all the annoyances…. they DO get to her, but she keeps her eye on the prize and keeps fighting anyway. She’s a girl trying to hold her world together with both hands.
 
And yeah, she IS still in over her head and is going to lose said fight horribly without help… but, well, character flaws are not a bad thing. Perfect people are equal parts boring and unbelievable.

Taking me on multi-hour long hikes is a pro for me. Just gimme a wide-brimmed hat, shades, sunscreen, and I’m all set.
