So? Technically, it was Chrysalis’s army that captured Discord and Tirek only drained him and put him in a bubble with very little physical violence on their part. Saying that Cozy would have hurt people is like saying that Discord would have done so as well if he ever had to exert himself.
Here we have a case of Discord using his magic to smash them to a wall for merely arguing with each other despite not needing to given how powerful he is. So no, it’s not fair. It was another act of unnecessary cruelty on his part.
I mean, Chrysalis and Tirek have used physical violence against him before, and Cozy probably wouldn’t mind physically hurting anyone either if she could, so I think that’s fair.

Where was the good intention, guilt and apology when he brought back a dead/banished person only to have him killed and using that person’s death to intimidate three others, one of whom was a child, into joining him on some confidence boosting prank that actively worked to make those three worse then they already were and using threats, false promises and at least one time, physical violance because they dared argue with each other to partake in that prank effectively using them as disposable minions to ruin a coronation and scare an entire nation?
And in the end risked his life by deflecting a beam from tirek so he could free starlight so the mane 5 and spike could save Equestria. He stays behind to help hold off 3 dangerous enemies and almost caused the apocalypse while having the good intention of helping twilight be a great leader of equestria. So yes he isn’t a saint but much much better than u give him credit for.
And in the end nearly caused the fucking Apocalypse…what a hero…

well i have never been of the opinion that actions directly correlate with someone being good or evil i mean it matters to a quite a lot but im not sure if doing morally questionable things for the sake of your friends makes u a bad person, I don’t see doing something dumb even if it causes horrible things to happen makes u a bad person either if u meant the best about the situation and come to realize your error and want to make up for it.
He literally saw her stop doupting herself in Canterlot. And his methods literally involved using fear and intimidation to get the trio to do what he wanted with the full intention of setting them up to fail. I didn’t say he was as evil per-say, but saying that he was good when he was willing to do that is a large stretch.
well no one said his actions were the best move, but well meaning means they meant well in their actions basically he had no evil intentions in those actions and was doing them while thinking of the greater good of his friends, he believed in twilight he just saw how she constantly doubts herself.
So he didn’t trust Twilight to run the kingdom despite her proving so beforehand, was willing to lie and endanger his friends for it and was willing to threaten, assault and lie to three people including a child to get his way. Well-meaning, sure.
