This is why people have created headcanons for why Starlight is so talented with magic, unless you’re completely disregarding those because, as it appears from your perspective, “ER, IF THE SHOW DOESN’T SHOW IT, IT’S NOT CANON, LOL!” Additionally, don’t shoot down headcanons just because you hate a character, that just makes you look like an asshole.

In fact it’s completelly reversed. You use episodes with her to “proof” that she did something good but there’re always one huge problem. Anything a character does must be possible for them (phisically/intellectually) in story’s universe and there must be motvation for them. So you can not proclaim that Twilight is the most talanted mage in Equestria and was trained for years by the best possible teachers and then insert a character from nowhere (not level boss like NMM or Discord) who outperform Twilight or even equal to Twilight in magic. And you can’t show that character shooting to other ponies horn-laser blasts which explodes stone constructions just to run away from the punishment and then show this character starting hysterics “punish me as hard as you want!”. This’s mutually contradictive and looks like the character is drunk or mentally not stable which makes everything about her pointless. As Finn said to Ice King in 1st season of “Adventure Time”: “You’re not sane and I don’t know how to help you”. “Adventure Time” was constructed to became more complex as Finn grows and in later seasons Ice King is not just a primitive villian for protogonist to beat but he always not sane and that’s his tragedy. But with Himmler it’s just tossing off what was told about her in prev. episodes. Screen-writers don’t know what to do with a character whose only distinctive feature is been mentally not sound OK just forget about that let she does some shit in this “school of friendship”.

There are positive things to talk about with Starlight, the thing is that you’re so biased against her that you don’t wanna heard it. Also, don’t lecture me on the basis of storytelling, because that claim is subjective as can be. Don’t say pass it off like “oh, I’m objectively right, you peasant.” What might not be appealing to you does not mean other people can’t find enjoyment out of it.

I suggest you try an experiment do something so police will arrest you then give them some evidence and next day different evidence contradicting to the first one. I predict that the police will ask why you tell them bullshit and what is true. This is how last MLP seasons do. The show itself doesn’t remember what it told in previous episodes and doesn’t follow it’s own rules. That’s why we have all this shit with Himmler, with hysterical Celestia, with ideas of replacing princesses with M6, with tonnes of char nobody cares about, with allmighty Discord diappearing every time screen-writer wants it, with ponification of everything so “magical land of Equestria” already looks more like provincial American town with drunk rednecks.
