Wheat Field is the youngest of a large family of wheat farmers living on the Plain Prariries. She’s a hard working, down to earth gal that moved to ponyville to expand her families business by starting her own small wheat farm.  
She misses her family dearly, and they exchange letters on a regular basis to keep in touch.
