As satifying as that would be to see, if School Daze is anything to go by, certain associations outrank royalty in their respective fields, and they definitely would not approve of such abuse of power for an old and extremely petty grudge.
The princesses’ authority is not as absolute as you (and a large section of this fandom) think it is.
Plus, such abuses of power (that she doesn’t deserve) are extremely out-of-character for Twilight and would likely get her demoted back to a unicorn.
Coming from the lady who was stupid enough to get knocked up at 16 without considering the repercussions, shove her insecurities onto a minor like it’s THEIR fault, and not even attempt to give her daughter the time of day like any other decent person would.
If you don’t want to make life harder for yourself, take some responsibility.
And if there’s no turning back, then man up and be there for those who clearly need you.
Well, Twilight can at least take comfort in knowing she isn’t the worst parent in this series. Not by a long shot.
It might be unfair, perhaps, to assume that you (yes, I am addressing this whole big rant to a fictional character, why do you ask?) see pregnancy as a necessary part of motherhood and therefore do not see adoptive mothers as legitimate. It might be unfair, perhaps, to make a point of noticing that every single thing you mentioned in your rant here is about you and how hard it makes your life. It might unfair, perhaps, to note that not a single word is spoken about concern for your daughter’s wellbeing - or, for that matter, about her in any capacity. It might be unfair, perhaps, to conclude from the lack of visible concern for her wellbeing, and the lack of acknowledgment of her existence except inasmuch as if affects you, that you do not care about her wellbeing and that you do not perceive her as existing, except inasmuch as it affects you. It might, perhaps, be unfair to conclude that you regard your daughter simply as an extension of yourself. It might, perhaps, be unfair to use the fact that you’re publicly yelling at a child (maybe a “shielded and privileged child, but a child all the same) who you have only just met, and making a number of assumptions about to bolster any conclusions about your character.
It might be unfair. Perhaps. But, based on what I’ve seen here, I don’t know what else I’m supposed to do. And hey, if you can decide you know someone based on probably less than two minutes’ worth of observation, I don’t see why anybody else can’t, either.

That’s an…oddly specific…accusation, Violet. Is there something you’d like to share with the rest of us?
Well said.

Try some humanity for once, you dumb cow.
