Just accept it, there’s always fan fiction. Plus there are much better shows to watch now. Try watching the first two seasons of Amphibia or The Owl House, you might have fun…or wait for G5.

But we will get season 3 someday next year I believe. Equestria Girls is not over yet. And besides, I thought this 2021 movie is going to be a sequel to My Little Pony: The Movie. And it will be all CGI Animated according to Steve Davis.

The virus has nothing to do with it. EqG content came to an effective end in September 2019, with the last handful of shorts not even getting YouTube uploads until months later - they were finished, they came out on other platforms, they just didn’t bother to put them on YouTube for months. If they were planning on Season 3 and it had just gotten delayed because of Covid, they would have announced it was delayed. And besides, the G5 movie has apparently continued production and wrapped up some of it. Not to mention the DHX crew has said they’re not working on the franchise anymore.
 
It’s one thing to ask Hasbro to revive the series (which they won’t, EqG was always a niche spin-off and not as big as the main show), but to act like it isn’t over and keep thinking there’s a third season coming, despite no evidence to support the idea and plenty of evidence to disprove it, is just annoying at this point.

The fact there it’s been more than a year without even a hint of new EqG content is a pretty big piece of evidence, but some people like to cling to empty hope.

I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve been hearing people falsely saying that Equestria girls has ended without any solid Evidence to prove that if there’s any official confirmation that it is over.

Not with that attitude.

Don’t jinx it we might still get one if we be patient
