Ever since Twilight Sparkle was chosen to be Princesses Celestia and Luna’s successor as ruler of Equestria, she chose Starlight to be her successor for the princess’ School of Friendship’s new headmare, knowing that she was the best choice. After struggling to find a vice headmare, as well as trying not reject Trixie for the position, despite being hopelessly unsuited for it, Starlight eventually hired her foalhood friend, Sunburst, as vice headstallion, seeing how he was perfect for the job. Taking into account Trixie’s hidden insightfulness, talent for giving advice (such as suggesting Sunburst for the job), and thoughtful consideration of others, Starlight offered her a position as the school’s new guidance counselor.
 
And even after Twilight became the new ruler and brought about a new era of friendship and harmony throughout Equestria and to non-pony creatures, Starlight and her friends continue to help maintain that harmony and teach friendship to all walks of life from the School of Friendship. Although Princess Twilight Sparkle is currently living in Canterlot, she still makes contact with the school’s staff. Maud Pie and her husband, Mudbriar, would also visit their pals now and again. Although it is speculated, it is likely that Starlight and Sunburst are now a couple as well. Headmare Starlight Glimmer, Vice Headstallion Sunburst, and Guidance Counselor Trixie would never forget how the magic of friendship inspired them, and they will always inspire others to embrace friendship, change their dark ways if they had any, and help make the world a better place.
 
 
Here’s the new head staff trio. I was unsure if I would have Sunburst standing sideways or in the typical position, but then I decided to go with the latter. Trixie’s was a little more challenging.

Well that’s all of Starlight with her new friends and their history. I plan on making a group pic featuring these three and the rest of the School of Friendship’s future staff.
