UFFF … The second collab I do in my life with you and in this fandom 💚 Thank you very much to the people who participated in this great collab! Each and every one of his drawings are very beautiful and magnificent! 💞 There are no words to describe the emotion of this. But … They will wonder, what did you want to achieve with this?
What I wanted to achieve is that each and every one of those who participated did not feel bad, why would they feel bad? Well … Because one draws better than someone else and that etc … What I wanted to do was show that you do not need to be a great expert oh draftsman to make works of art because each and every one of us has our own style and form He does something that nobody and that nobody is equal to him. What does it matter if you draw on paper? You can get to do magnificent things if you set your mind to it! <3 There are in you those great hopes of going far! <3

With the pretext of an alleged “civil war” in which Luna’s out to topple Celestia for some reason I haven’t found.
Interesting.
In that case I am just going to guess that it might have been a dispute on who is best princess from the early days of the show (before Twilight became a princess) that got a ton of artists taking sides and making fanfics and drawings supporting the side they chose. One side supported Celestia heavily, and the other side supported Luna heavily. Eventually they came up with the terms ‘Solar Empire’ and ‘New Lunar Republic’ to describe their individual communities.
Seems I can’t answer that. Even Googling it didn’t help.
I can see that there is fan art, but that doesn’t really answer my question of what it exactly was about. Is there a synopsis that can describe what happened to cause Equestria to get into a civil war to begin with?

If I may ask, what is this Equestria Civil War that you are referring to? Is it a fanfic or fanfic series from years back?
What does this have to do with the third faction (if not fourth, fifth, or God forbid the sixth) in the once-popular Equestria Civil War concept?
