You can always type with the tip of the hoof. You don’t have to plant the frog of the hoof on the key. No biggie.

I’ve always suspected that MLP:FiM was a Scavenger World where the ponies found and incorporated old technology from a long-extinct species of hyper-intelligent chimpanzees, hence why several things in that world are clearly not designed for them (like coffee cups and anything with handles), but Pony Life appears to be even moreso.
 
Also the water is pink. Maybe it’s polluted with something, but that something just doesn’t affect these super deformed and incredibly small ponies.
