Paint Tool SAI might work on your PC, the system requirements aren’t that high. Some people learn to draw without a tablet. Yes, really! And they create amazing stuff. Just mentioning it~  
Since you enjoy to draw in real life, you can master this as well. Your art is amazing! You even draw such lovely backgrounds for the characters too. :)

Well, don’t see it like that (although that’s how I am for the most part also). If you wanna try digi, build up to it by doing mini projects or something. In other words, pace yourself. Set a time limit for an hour. You spend an hour a day practicing with digi. One hour, look into a program out there to download, how it works, etc. If you download it, an hour messing around with the tools rather than reading the manual first. If you can’t navigate the program at all, then yeah look at a manual. Good luck.
