I always interpreted that she was the most ambitious of the three, like she was the one really pushing the other two to keep with their original world domination schemes. Aria and Sonata seemed more fine with letting it go and just making the best of things in the human world, with Aria being so out of bitterness and fatalism and Sonata out of a genuine enjoyment of what the human world had to offer. As for why they put up with her, who knows? Maybe like @Shimmering Spectacle there was genuine camaraderie and possibly even fondness between them :P

I got the feeling that adagio dazzle was more of the evil one of the trio and aria blaze and sonata dusk were kind of force to follow along (what else are they going to do in a strange world not of their own? Go it completely alone?). We can kind of see it with how Adagio shot down Sonata excitement at seeing Taco Tuesday. I don’t think either of the other two sirens got to do something they wanted to do while Adagio was around.

That’s every villain though. The changelings seemed to enjoy themselves just as much and were every bit as sadistic of predators until Thorax came along. Nevermind the stupid Youtube captions :P

Heck, it was specifically a plot point that Thorax was “born different”, implying non-evil changelings were the exception not the rule :P

I would agree with you on that, if not for the fact that in the movie, they seemed to enjoy the chaos they were causing throughout the school. I seriously doubt that other predators are that sadistic.

Plus, they’re not like most predators in the sense that they have sapience - they’re from a world where animals are essentially the same as humans.

I didn’t even know that was a thing. The only one I’d ever seen was one of Grogar and a baby Sonata Dusk, but I don’t think it’s on the site anymore since I can’t find it XD

I’ve often wondered exactly how “evil” you could really consider them to be. Like, they seem to be evil in the “following their biology” way, like how a predator species is “evil” to a prey species :D

I did, and it honestly is pretty good. REALLY lame villain, like the lamest villain in MLP history bar none, but even that kind of worked since it wasn’t really the kind of story that even needed a villain at all XD
