Yep, here we go again, smh… HOLD ON TO YOUR HORSES Y’ALL-! (Also, I know the art style XP. 1, I just wanted to have fun with it, and 2 I was a bit lazy 🤣).⚠️ LONG DESCRIPTION WARNING ⚠️1.) “Gabby! Long time no see. I’ve missed you so much-”!…Yep, here comes the Gabby x Spike explanation…and just more Spike in general…Three years later when Spike moved to the Dragons Lands, Gabby had decided to take a trip to visit him for a few weeks. She was missing her dear friend and had frankly gained some feelings for him, but never acknowledged them until she realized her yearning to see him. Unfortunately, the others (such as the mane six) were too busy to ever travel to the Dragon Lands to check on their dear ole Spike, and Gabby was still held under strict rules and surveillance with Grandpa Gruff. Regardless, that wasn’t going to stop her. Though it took some time, within a couple of years, Gabby had plotted a logical and an efficient plan to meet him. She wanted this to be a surprise for Spike, so she never told anybody of her plans (and plus not to spread word in case Gruff would catch her). And once she had the time, the maturity and resources, she ran away that summer and ventured all alone to see him.She made it and was pretty nervous, though extremely excited. However, she was finding it difficult to spot the purple and green dragon in the midst of a hundred flying above whilst smoke and steam covered parts of the land. Thus, she resorted to asking the locals, and of course they knew of his whereabouts. Eventually, she found him and was happily reunited. Spike was indeed surprised and astonished at how she hasn’t changed one bit and the fact that she came all this way to see him all of a sudden. However, on the other claw, Gabby was lovestrucked at his drastic change in his appearance. Though still chunky in the gut from binge eating gems, he was still fairly muscular and bigger. Definitely nothing like how he was the last time she saw him. Spike had noticed her attraction and had become bashful. At around this time, both in their life (at 18-19 for Spike and 20 for Gabby) hormones were swarming like crazy in the air. It was only till recently that Spike was taught how to handle any potential mates that find interest in him…and boy was he glad to catch on with Gabby. Besides, it was fine by Spike to accept her attraction as he too (before he left) had started to crush on her.So yeah, in the span of the few weeks she visited, Spike and Gabby may have done a certain dance (if you know what I mean) that’ll change both Gabby and Spike’s life in the future. Though not ashamed of the act, they both promised to keep it a secret and hoped that no kids spawned from their intimacy. AHEM yeah with no protection, how else would you think this situation would go down y’all??? Yeah so, after a month or so when she came back home, she had noticed that she was pregnant…. The small monthly eggs that female griffins have never came and that’s when she knew that she was in big trouble… She should’ve known that this was going to happen, why was she so gullible! The girl was desperate and too lovestruck to ever be knowledgeable. Poor thing, now she has to account for her actions. Grandpa Gruff wasn’t going to take this lightly either… So of course, Gabby kept it a secret. Or perhaps so…2.) When her egg was laid, to cover for herself Gabby had told a fib that this egg of hers was brought to her door step in hopes that somebody would take care of it. Gruff surprisingly believed her as stuff like this happens all of the time in the grim world of Griffonstone. Though when hatched, the chick looked far different from any other baby griffin. But fortunately for Gabby, Gruff with his messed up eye and bad eyesight in general wasn’t able to really make out any indistinguishable features. To be honest, Gruff at the time was getting old and really didn’t give too much thought to how many more young griffins he was willing to foster. So he had Gabby watch over the new chick (which she was okay with because like… that’s her child). And thus Gabby did and would temporarily deem the chick as a “foster child”, until Spike met her again. She was going to tell the truth to him and only him. And if the word is spread, sobeit.3.) To continue, Gabby was so caught up in young motherhood that she had almost forgotten that her son, who she named Glinton (Glint) Ash Phoenix’s, father was Spike. It has already been almost FOUR YEARS since she’s seen Spike. So much was just going on then, like Grandpa Gruff falling ill, and her having to find part time jobs solely in Griffonstone to care for Gruff, pay the bill, and to nurture her son. She would’ve started back mailing, but clearly, similarly to what I just said, she was stuck in Griffonstone. At the time her foster siblings, like Gilda, Galus and even Greta were all out doing their own things to even help. Sure they had their concerns and checked up on Gruff and Gabby from time to time, but just couldn’t stay long. So the poor griffin was practically on her own until things subsided.Distracted she was, she barely ever sent Spike any letters, and unfortunately had missed the one when Spike had come back from Ponyville. She was just that busy! But after all of that chaos, Grandpa Gruff was finally doing well on his own again, and her son was three now and could entertain himself without Gabby’s help. Gladly, the girl could breathe again. One day, from compiling old mail consisting of bills, rent, and spam, that was about to get thrown out, she had caught an eye on some of her unfinished letters to Spike and unopened letters he had sent. It dawned on her that the last time she saw Spike, he had told her that he would be coming back to Ponyville in less than two years…. “It’s been four years”, she realized “d@mn” …. Immediately, she scavenged through the letters and found one that was sent to her almost two years back… “HOW COULD I HAVE MISSED THIS”?, she exclaimed. Anyways, she finally gathered herself together, grabbed her son, and ventured on to Ponyville. Like four years ago, she wanted this to be a surprise… but this time, she was really anticipating Spike’s reaction. She hoped that it wouldn’t be an expression of disgust or anger.She made it to Ponyville later that day, and had set up reservations for a motel. After that, she would then spoil her smol son by carrying him for an early night walk, in hopes to make him fall asleep. She desired to find one single dragon flying around or walking about, but then had realized that Ponyville became the capital of diversity… so it wasn’t going to be “that” easy. BUT, alas, coming from Rarity’s Boutique, she saw him. “SPIKE”, she called and felt an overwhelming flood of emotions, like joy, peace, relief, yet also anticipation, and worry. She prayed that he’ll understand the situation at least! She had caught his attention. He was hesitant to come over as it was dark and utterly couldn’t believe that it might be who he thinks it is. “Gabby?,” he gasped and hurriedly walked to the vague yet familiar griffin silhouette in the distance. Spike eventually got close to see her, and it was his one and only Gabby. Immediately he noticed the lightly sleeping chick she was cradling. He questioned her, and she dubiously gave him the sudden truth that the chick was their son. NOW OF COURSE, from a guy who already had unexpected twins, Spike was both shocked yet unbothered by this. If anything, he started questioning himself if he may have any more potential accidental kids out there. Seriously, he was more surprised at how fertile he was. This may have come out of nowhere, but Spike’s big ole heart has enough room for one more, his smol precious son. Besides, Spike was so grateful to finally see her again and was happy that she was in top tier condition as he did get very worried when she had stopped sending frequent letters, then all at once.CONCLUSION: Spike’s family is only going to grow bigger. But for now, this is how it is. To recap and clarify some things, Spike (when he was younger; 8-12) crushed on Rarity, but then Gabby when he got slightly older (13-15). Nearing 16, Spike went through a rough dragon puberty and had to be sent to the Dragons Lands for five years or so. At around 18 nearing 19, Gabby had visited him and they both made out (Gabby had just turned 20). Gabby, almost a year later, has Phoenix. When Spike turned 21, he was sent back to Ponyville. And not too long later has relations with Rarity. Then almost a year later, Rarity has her twins, Jade and Ignatius. A whole year and a half later, Gabby comes back to Ponyville with a 3 year old Phoenix. Then after some reconciliation and understanding, Rarity then let’s go of Spike, agrees to take care of her twins, and allows Gabby and Spike’s relationship to flourish and bloom, as it should’ve all of this time. Sure, it took a while for Rarity to get over this, but with the big ole generous heart she has, she was able to manage and get through it…. With the help of Luna. Luna would later on be Rarity’s company (if you know what I meeaaann ;))))(Note: Yeah, I know I just used the “accidental child” card again, especially on Spike [sorry Spike]. But y’know, that’s reality for ya. Sh!t happens lol, XD.)
