So many good memories of that console. I think it was one of the last purely good ones before the industry moved to make compromises in the name of revenue streams.

This. Video games aren’t the same as they once were and only keep getting worse. At least PS2 games never had in-game purchases (like expansion passes and microtransactions) or a focus on online multiplayer (not that online multiplayer is inherently bad, but I’d rather just have local multiplayer).
