Solar Supporter - Fought against the New Lunar Republic rebellion on the side of the Solar Deity (April Fools 2023).

Loving fan and shipper
I don’t think it’s a retcon, given that I don’t think It Ain’t Easy Being Breezies explained how the breezy language was like…It might be inconsistent within this episode itself though, I’m sure lots of people will try to do what Zipp did and find a way to slow down when the breezies talk, and call it out if it really is just gibberish.
If anything I’d argue the way Hitch understands them might be a retcon. From what we understood of how he heard the animals in Lost in Translation, it seemed like he just heard them speak fluent English, not that he translated their languages. And Make Your Mark seemed to follow along with this with certain jokes. So I find it curious that he picked up on how the breezy language works. Maybe it’s different since they’re not really animals, idk.

So, according to a rough estimate I’m making from this clip, something spoken by Breezies in two seconds is understood if it’s slowed down to eight seconds, which means Breezie language is regular language sped up to approximately four times faster.
Make a note of that, everyone.

I don’t mind this change personally, but it still appears to be a form of retconning. Yes, the G4 breezie speech was high-pitched, but it was not high-speed. You could heard individual words (even though they were meaningless) and even attempt to transcribe them.

Tbh I thought that is what the Breezie’s were doing in their introduction episode. (S4 E16: It Ain’t Easy Bein’ Breezie’s) I literally thought they were just talking really fast. I think I never caught on that it was an actual gibberish language until like 2018. 0-0
But if I’m gonna be honest I always thought it was bullshit that they had their own language in that episode. Without subtitles. This means that literally everything the other breezie’s said execept for seabreeze was meaningless.
Now we’re actually gonna get a translation. That sounds like it could realistically work in universe. Doesn’t sound like a bad choice to me.

Testing a breezies ultrasound wave frequency. Well, hopefully they’ll be speaking in complete sentences, rather than them saying in complete gibberish. Except here in this generation, we’ll probably have an “It Ain’t Easy Being Breezies” recreation.
