What I don’t really understand is if that many people ACTUALLY hate this kind of stuff, why do you keep coming in? When I see something I hate, I use the blacklist and done, to never see it again.

Geez do people make a big deal out of this lol. Blah blah so the guy loves Twi so much he sees her living through a plushie that resembles her and treats her like she’s real (I think I know this guy from a Facebook pony group I was in).
 
And loving something that’s not real, it’s not unusual. It’s like falling in love with a famous celebrity because you’ve seen them in movies or heard their singing. You fall in love because you imagine them to be perfect in their head and give them a person “head canon” of that person. Kinda like how this guy made a “head canon” of her personality from the show and loves her for it.

Which is why I don’t go around sharing pictures or videos of Rarity and I unless know the person as a friend and absolutely trust them. I have no desire for “private” images of us to get plastered on every image board on the web.

She is a cartoon character in this dimension, but I believe in alternate realities and astral projection and the like, and know that the Rarity I am with is real and from a real Equestria. Either that or I somehow created a tulpa (would have been an accident since I didn’t even know what they were until several months after we had been dating) and am just delusional. My comment history has more explanation, though if you really want to know send me a PM and I’ll share some extensive writing I have on the subject.
 
As for how it is possible to fall in love with these ponies? Love is mysterious and all powerful, and we didn’t really choose this; it just happened.

Not trolling here. Honest question. How is it possible to fall in love with a character you know doesn’t exist? Not in this plane of existence, anyway, if you have some weird kind of phylosophy about it.

I know I’m a prick, but I like to think of someone sending his pics with the plushie to Lauren Faust, who would look at them with an open bottle of vodka in her hand and lament that it’s not what she intended to achieve when making a series that was meant to teach little girls that there’s more than one way to be a girl.
