Yup, exactly like the Touhou yukkuri fandom… The very idea of not torturing the subject material is met with outrage and fevered attempts to “correct” the “problem”. Oh, and both fandoms began completely innocently, too, with attempts to portray the subject as cute and cuddly.
In short, this is why we can’t have nice things.

Why?
Well I can understand it.
They won’t mind if aliens, templars, eldrich horrors, cataclyms appears just to torture and destroy the fluffies but nothing else but when it comes to the opposite, they start ranting about how scientifically inacurate is that fluffies manage to survive but not the humans.
The last one caused a massive butthurt storm over the mere implication that fluffies survived mankind/were not being brutally murdered for the “crime” of merely existing. Already called it on Fluffybooru over there.
