Actually, it’s possible. Remember that Mayor Mare was seen dying her hair an older looking color in “Ponyville Confidential”. That me she could be theoretically trying to make herself look older, in an effort to look wiser and more compotent at her career. The real question lies in trying to find out WHEN they met.
