This. Having worked in retail myself, I think most people would be shocked at the levels of apathy the employees are capable of.
I have never run into another brony at the grocery store/Wal-Mart before. Tractor Supply Co., surprisingly yes, but never the grocery store…
Seriously. No one knows who you’re buying the thing(s) for and they don’t care.
It’s like when some people I knew in college were talking about how they would go to a store late at night and buy a bunch of odd, disparate objects and laugh at what they thought the cash register guy thought they were doing with that combination of objects. But the fact is, the cash register guy had no reason to assume any of the objects had anything to do with each other, nor any reason to care, unless one of the guys buying the stuff said something.
No I mean I’ll probably attract bronies who will be all OMG CAN YOU BELIEVE TWILICORN >:C and I’ll just be like dude go away I’m just buying horse and groceries.
You can always make the “I’m buying this for my sister” Excuse, it IS Christmas after all.
Dude I walked through the store holding both cheerilee and Vinyl Scratch and no one even gave me a funny look so its fine trust me.
