That’s why you use backpack.tf you can get hood looking hats for like 8 cents over there

Darn prerelease hype and I thought the Spooky Keys would work too…
 
and yeah judging by the drop rate of these things it must be rarer then the chem sets, salvaged/reserved crates and hats times 50.

Nah, that’s not how it works. First they release the crate, then the key.
 
Maybe Valve is just waiting until more people have this crate before releasing the key. I mean, so far only Twilight has one.
