I remember seeing quite a bit of Cheerimac. As much as we’ve seen Cheesepie, at least.
And Pinkie Pride doesn’t involve either party being hypnotized or being forced together by outside parties.
Aaaaand it also helps that Pinkie is, imo, one of the harder ponies to actually ship. She’s so hyper and schizo she doesn’t really have long-term romantic chemistry with anyone. Shipping her with someone who is pretty much her R63 counterpart gives her someone who can take all the antics and return them in kind.
Like the universe of The Life and Times of a Winning Pony? It was torturing to see that EVERYPONY was lesbian, or assumed to be. I even read a couple fics that poked fun at that stereotype.
I was, but only a little bit.
I get that people love their mare/mare and stallion/stallion ‘ships, but there comes a point where you have to realize that if a character has shown a canon attraction to the opposite sex, they’re probably NOT gay.
I’m not saying that homosexuality doesn’t exist in Equestria, but there’s a point where it gets ridiculous.
I hope you’re being sarcastic as there have been far more than six stallions, and lesbian shipping is far more overpowering in this fandom.
They can’t ALL be shipped with other stallions!
That is not a good way to sustain the population!

A description that could fit season two Hearts and Hooves Day…didn’t stop a single brony from depicting Big Mac as being a homosexual in half the fanon material.
