She lashed out, and excessively, but Spike was pushing her when she was already clearly on edge. Everyone has their off days, and we do not know the context.
Twilight is probably his waifu he must protect from e-bullies.
Sure, what she did was rude and uncalled for, but we don’t know why she did it. Jumping straight to “What a bitch!” is foolish when you don’t know the full story.
Would cheering her on make more sense to you?
Pretty sure being angry at her is the expected reaction here.
It’s like no one is allowed to get angry every now and then.
Pretty much everyone gets grumpy when they’re sleep deprived, as Twilight looks here, and with Spike continuously bothering her, it makes sense that she would snap at him.
Of course, Twilight’s never supposed to get angry. What a bitch! Execution would be too good for her!
I think no one actually wants to spill Twilight’s blood, it’s just that expressions are amplified on the internet.
More on topic, I can understand both Twilight and Spike’s perspectives, although Twilight lashing out on Spike was obviously not the right way to go about it.
I also thank the artist for not making Spike cry. This is a more realistic response from him, I believe.
It’ll be oddly hilarious if we find out in a flashback that Spike did something horrible like burn down their house or drop a huge book that crushed Owlowiscious to death.
One thing I hate about comics or anything like this is the reaction most people have. That is… when someone does something bad (such as Twilight brushing Spike off in favor of her reading), everyone calls for the blood of the one who did something bad, and generally overreact.
Fine.
