dm29: You may or may not have heard about an apparent spin-off of a spin-off for Equestria Girls called Equestria Academy. We dont have details on what that could entail, but I have an idea.
If you recall Equestria Girls where Pinkie Pie references a Twilight Sparkle who lives in the city. Mirror World Twilight was never actually seen in the movie since most of the action revolves around our Twilight in Canterlot High.
What if Equestria Academy is another school in the Mirror World? Perhaps a private school? Twilight did fine on her own when she got into Princess Celestias school.
I would want to see the spin-off series be more original than one that just mirrors the MLP universe. This alternate universe theory would use Twilight Sparkle nicely without calling reference to her current friends and expand the franchise elsewhere.
