I wouldn’t say they “hate” them, (Plus they had Luna kiss Mac once probably to tease ‘shippers) but those people are an easy target for parody. Especially, sense those guys probably give them crap for not having their fan OTPs kiss, and such.
 
Hell, people gave them crap just for adapting Twilicorn, (I find it odd some though that was never going to happen) and for putting an “Oingo Boingo” reference in the comic. >>451952 (Guess some people don’t like Danny Elfman.)
