I agree with every thing this guy says but I just don’t like the vulgarity(imagining rarity’s evil twin) of his language, I actually don’t like any of those people who act sarcastistically or ironically like drowning in horseshoes, it just seems like their trying to act edgy and cool but comes off as unnecessarily vulgar. I actually like that the show is for younger viewers, other more mature shows use their rating as a crouch and just seem to resort to the same clichéd jokes like violence and sex, I see a TV-Y rating as something that challenges writers to break from the routine.

This…is actually a surprisingly good read. I mean, I could do without the “horsecock” bit, but even that is done for the same of comedy, which I can’t fault.

Okay, story time! Two stories, really. Not about rape, but this is about how humor can help you move past something really horrible.

First one is this: my car and some friends got hit by two semi-trucks in a row some 15 years ago during a bad winter storm. I was an idiot and went driving anyway. (Black Ice with fresh snow falling on top of it.) I was hysterical, because I shouldn’t have survived, yet we all managed to walk away.

It was the sort of thing that could instill a life-long fear of big tractor-trailers. But you know what? I gave my self an Indian nickname, “Dances With Semis”. Humor helped me to heal and drive again without fear.

Another story: I asked friends what the worst possible idea for a snow globe could be. They’d usually answer with something relatively tame. I then suggested a 9/11 WTC-themed snowglobe. Instead of snow, you had little papers and people floating around, with two planes. There would be a little switch on the bottom that collapses the buildings. :D

I remember telling friends about something else, too: “Oh my god! That’s horrible, like rape! Or cancer! Or rape-cancer!”

Part of my sense of humor loves making something so ridiculously awful it becomes absurd. If something horrible happened to me I’d probably joke about it. It’s still horrible, but I’d rather just move on than let it consume me, you know?

Makes sense. Too bad SJWs don’t operate on the stuff.
Their MO is ad hominem and making shit up.
They won’t read or listen to any criticism given the source. They’ll cover their eyes and plug their ears, and make sweeping generalizations about adult male fans of MLP.
