Okay, I could buy that, I guess for one thing I was at a antique/garage sale thing and they had a few of those old fans with wire guards that were far more decorative then practical and just kept thinking of those.

Does the fact that there is no blade guard on the fan and that Sweetie is so close to it bother anyone else? Then again I do sometimes tend to be a worry-wort and have somewhat elevated parental instincts.
