Played Monopoly with some friends from school once. Nobody except me was landing on the orange spaces, so I ended up buying all three of them. I ended up dominating the rest of the game with just the oranges and a couple pieces of other colors. Nobody spoke of Monopoly again.

Oh, I’ve played it like that before; it’s still possible to have fun, but when there’s only two players it greatly reduces trading opportunities, which also increases the degree to which luck decides the outcome.
