But that’s just it, almost half of Tireks images are of the “tirek vs everyone meme” not to mention the other ones. I guess what i’m saying is that the fandom hasn’t done him justice or properly represented him, even sombra has had more good images than tirek.

To be honest, I wasn’t aware Tirek was “unpopular.” I see lots of art of him, memes, and such of him. Plus alot of fans were happy that they finally brought back a G1 villain.
 
The only villain I felt was hated/unpopular was King Sombra. I see fans bash him all the time.  
(Whom I don’t think was that bad, and I liked the more subtle approach to him they had. It made him seem creepier, and a bit more mysterious to me.)

I KNOW RIGHT, he’s the best villian the show has had but the majority of his images are just stupid memes.  
I brought this up with in the episode discussion forum, Despite the season 4 finale being awesome, despite him having the same motivations as half the villians, despite being the closest to actually winning he still isn’t that popular in the fandom.  
in comparison to the dazzlings, he outsmarted discord and got more power than them but he doesn’t even have an ASK BLOG ON TUMBLR or any kind of dedicated following.  
I’ll ask again WHY ISN’T TIREK MORE POPULAR? he did everything right.

Yeah, while he hasn’t been in alot of relationships, he’s had alot of “potential girlfriends” over the years in the numerous official games, TV, show, comics, and such. Sally, Amy, Mina Mongoose, Fiona Fox, Miss Possum, Breezie, Elise, and such… Though, some fans also argue he’s better off “alone,” sense as a heroic drifter, he’s always on the move, and doesn’t have time for a relationship.

I bet you, her classmate Pipsqueak would have some sort of crush on her.

i read that sonic has absorbed chaos energy over the years hence why the villains plans go awry if they face him (the residual chaos is messing up their plans) so it’s only natural for his love life to be chaotic as well (same chaos energy is working against him in this case)

Well, I saw a SonicXEggman pic, that itself is weird. (In fact, anyone with Eggman/Robotnik is just scary.) But I’m pretty sure I’ve seen weirder then that. :P (Saw a humorous Sonic X chili dog pic before. That’s my OTP. lol)
 
Also, Sonic fans tend to fight alot over if Sonic should be with Amy, or Sally. (Princess Sally Acorn is a character from the comic series, and old TV show, she’s quite popular surprisingly for someone not from the game canon.)  
Everytime Amy appears in the Sonic comic, some Sally-fans accuse Ian Flynn (the current main writer for it) of being pro~~”SonAmy,” then if Sally appears more, the Amy-fans accuse him of being pro~~”SonSal.” Sonic fans are quite militant over their ‘ships.  
Ian Flynn humorously addressed this in an audio interview (I listened to on Youtube) in regards to the ‘shipper wars amongst Sonic fans he said, “Sonic can’t be with Sally, Sega says ‘no,’ Sonic can’t be with Amy, Sega says ‘no,’ so therefore Sonic is celibate. Ya happy now?” (The way he said it, kinda cracked me up. He also does a funny Big the cat impression.)
 
Though, bronies are getting no better. Heck, some people on this site are oddly getting on my case about me being a “non-shipper.”  
I could just say “I’m not very into ’shipping,” and people somehow mistakingly interpretate that as, “ZOMG nobody shuld be allowed to ship! I hate ’shipping! All ’shippers must dye! Graaarrrrgh!!!!” and start hassling me about it.  
I don’t get people sometimes…  
Let me make his clear, I don’t hate shipping, nor am I “anti-shipping.” I even upvoted, and complimented some ‘shipper pics before. (Even with pairings I don’t even like.) I’m just not as into it as most of us bronies are.
 
Sorry for kinda ranting here, (and we’re getting off-topic here) but as you can see these are some of the reasons I’m a li’l turned off of fan-’shipping.
