Basically, a random sampling of bronies from all demographics seemed like a good test batch. Feel free to dislike Flash, but don’t expect the entire crowd to agree with you.

I apologize, I understated how prominently the FlashLight at the con was presented. You see, there was a stgageplay/dance party there, and the climax of the event went this way:
So, kind of a huge part. And afterwards, the attitude was very positive. Not just people walking up the the Flash and congratulating him, but even opinions afterwards, including some show staff in attendance. Hell, even the guy who had a TwiDash iPhone wallpaper said he was fine with it. From the extremely positive reaction that got in a group of nearly 250 people, that is where I say that the majority of fans don’t feel negative towards Flash.
@Poptard
Wrong. Like anyone would want to punch and start fighting at a con if some dude or chick dresses as that walking generic anime cut out. Especially with kids around. Ever heard of just bottling it in?
Nah, I’d say it’s only something like %30-40 now. At the cons and meet ups I’ve gone to those neutral or liking Flash far outnumber those who throw a fit when seeing him.
@someguy111
It’s official. Bony cheeks can be a facial structure, though, and doesn’t automatically equate to anorexia or even being skinny. I weigh 140 pounds and my cheeks are like a fuckin’ chipmunk’s, yet I know people much larger than me who you can see the bones in their cheeks.
Fluer is meant to be a model-type character, and bony cheeks is usually a good facial structure for a model to have. Thing about modeling is that it doesn’t automatically mean you have to be attractive, it matters how good your body shape is at making clothes look good on the runway (that’s why I should add that just because Fluttershy was a model in that episode doesn’t even mean that she’s considered attractive by non-model standard, just a pet peeve there) Bony cheeks is the preferred facial structure, along with a skinny figure and long legs.
That’s probably why they gave her such bony cheeks here as well as such a different design as a pony - it’s more befitting of a non-plus size model.
Not to mention her penchant for being nude…

Its a gathering of friends. Plus, its a “Stage play”. 250 people? Not much to garner a consensus. XD

And suddenly I like her more

This must be how 90% of the fandom feels about Flash Sentry.
Yeah.
Is it because of how chiseled she looks?
She looks like a man.
I don’t see it.
But I have to admit that the high heels suit very well to her, they add a little “posh” style :D
