Cozy Glow's mane

I’ve seen a handful of images regarding Cozy Glow, but one thing I can’t get into my head is her mane. To me, it looks exaggerated and very difficult to execute. If anyone knows how to draw her mane correctly, a lending hand would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
 
And yes, trying to do my first art in two years (because the images I uploaded as anonymous were basically Garry’s Mod, and I grew tired of doing that).

Have you tried looking at the vectors and screencaps that are uploaded here? Those could help.

Don’t have Inkscape and rarely used it too. However, a user did post on a quick tutorial on how Cozy’s mane is done. Here’s the image of it:

You don’t need inkscape to look at vectors and analyze how the mane is styled for a character. Good thing someone posted a tutorial.
