So, I might finally get to designing Belladonna’s dad. I jotted down some names, and the the only one in there that didn’t sound like complete and utter shit was Pertri Erlenmeyer. A bit realistic, but it fits the bill for what he does. He’s a scientist who primarily works with biology and medicine. He’s like a giant teddy bear and is just a huge dork. While he didn’t get to spend much time with Belle when she was young because of work, he always wanted to provide the best for her.
 
Design wise, he’s certainly darker than most ponies. I might use for him either a lanky body type like Flim and Flam, or a chubby one like Nogan or Zipporwhill’s dad. He’s definitely getting glasses, perhaps some gray hairs and a little bit of stubble. Some ideas I have for him is how he met Primadonna, some quality time he had with Belle, and establish the fact that it’s pretty much canon that hhe know’s this crazy cunt’s parents:

Well I know that you already know about this, but I have a contest goin on DA, with people either drawing one of my ships or one of my ocs to win points.
 
Lightning Dust x Limestone Pie was one of my ships I listed for the contest, and this artist suddenly uploads this image and claims it as part of the contest.
 
She said that she made this oc (Oc’s name is lemon Zap btw) as an entry for the contest (I guess since she saw both “ship” and “oc” in the title, she thought she needed to make an oc based of the ship), and I told her that although the pic was nice, it didn’t count since it was an oc based of the ship and not the actual ship.
 
I told her that she can still take part in it if she wanted to and that I would count her as a member of the contest if she drew Lightning z Limestone, but she said that it was fine and she said that she would remove herelf from the contest.  
She was nice enough to let me keep the oc and use her in my next-gen though ^^

I would have made her bat wings a bit more prominent and given her fangs but she’s looking pretty well.
